This bait was designed by smallmouth fanatic, Mike Whitten and is a "Purpose Specific" spinnerbait. The bait was designed by Mike to fish deep ledges & humps and stay deep on the retrieve without wearing you out or creating unwanted "lift". The bait weighs 3/4 or 1 full ounce in the ShadHead style and 1 1/4oz in the Boss Mini-Me style. The wire has been custom cut and the bait utilizes a #5 Gold Willowleaf blade rather than a #6 or #7 Willow like most other 1 oz. baits.
This bait is ONLY available in 3/4 & 1 oz. ShadHead sizes as well as in the Boss Mini-Me. The 3/4oz Whitten Special will have a #4.5 Gold Willowleaf blade on it while the 1 oz ShadHead and the Boss Mini-Me Whitten Special will come with a #5 Gold Willowleaf blade...UNLESS you select a different style and/or color blade. |
